Job Description
Customer Services Administrator
Location: Alton (parking available)
Salary: £26,227 plus generous company benefits
Hours: Monday to Friday / 8:30-5pm
HYBRID AVAILABLE once training has been completed
A growing, forward thinking organisation in ALTON is looking for a Customer Services Administrator to join their busy and supportive Customer Services team. If you’re organised, proactive and confident communicating at all levels, this role offers a great opportunity to be part of a collaborative, positive working environment.
About The Role
You’ll play a key part in supporting customer requests, managing administrative tasks, and ensuring smooth communication between customers, vendors and internal teams. This role suits someone who enjoys variety, takes ownership of their workload, and thrives in a fast paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Keep customers updated
- Maintain accurate and up to date customer records and documentation
- Liaise with vendors daily to chase delivery dates and resolve queries
- Log, action and close all customer requests promptly and professionally
- Work closely with internal departments to ensure smooth service delivery
- Manage the Customer Services inbox, reallocating tasks and maintaining SLA standards
Key Skills & Attributes
- IT Literate, Outlook, Word, Excel, CRM experience is desirable
- Friendly, enthusiastic and a strong team player
- Confident communicator at all levels
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- High accuracy and attention to detail
- Self motivated with the ability to work independently
- Calm and organised under pressure
- Deliver consistently high standards of administrative support
- Respond promptly to emails and queries
- Follow correct escalation procedures when needed
- Maintain professionalism and clarity in all communication
- Suggest improvements and efficiencies in administrative processes
- Provide prompt, high quality responses in line with service standards
