Who Are Haysto
Haysto are the UK’s leading complex mortgage brokerage and after an exceptional 2025, we’re on track to double in size again in 2026 — powered by our exclusive partnership with Experian and driven by huge demand for our services.
To keep pace with demand (without compromising quality), we’re hiring an additional 2 Customer Service Advisers/Administrators that are known internally as Pre-Application Manager’s (PAM) — a role that sits at the heart of our sales funnel and customer journey.
The Opportunity
As a Pre-Application Manager, you’ll be responsible for guiding customers from mortgage recommendation to submission.
You’ll be responsible for contacting customers promptly, collecting the full suite of lender documents, reviewing them in detail, and packaging cases to a high standard, before submitting cases to our lenders.
It’s a role for someone who thrives on pace, accuracy, structure, and enjoys customer communication.
What You’ll Be Doing (Day-to-Day)
Your core responsibilities include:
- Receiving a high volume of customer experience tasks daily, confirming a welcome call is required, and completing it within the 4-hour Service Level Agreement.
- Contacting customers by telephone promptly and requesting the full suite of Day 1 documents.
- Collecting documents live on the call where possible, and timeboxing follow-up calls where needed.
- Managing your diary efficiently and maintaining consistent customer contact until documents are complete.
- Reviewing documents carefully and approving or rejecting, while guiding the customer clearly and professionally.
- Once fully packaged you will submit the mortgage application to a lender.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
