Join Our Dynamic Customer Service Team - Narborough, LE19
Are you passionate about delivering outstanding customer service and building lasting customer relationships?
We are looking for a confident, organised Customer Service Executive to join our friendly team. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a well-established logistics company where you'll manage your own portfolio of customers, providing a personalised service and ensuring their shipments run smoothly from booking through to delivery.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (with 1 hour lunch)
Pay: From £27,027.00 per year
As a key member of our Customer Service Team, you will:
- Be a vital link between our customers and delivery depots, communicating confidently via phone and email
- Manage a portfolio of customers, providing dedicated one-to-one support
- Handle customer enquiries promptly and professionally
- Handle quoting and booking for UK and international shipments
- Arrange and manage customer returns
- Monitor shipments and keep customers updated throughout the delivery process
- Work closely with our transport, warehouse and sales teams to deliver excellent service
- Carry out general administrative duties to support the smooth running of the department
- Occasionally accompany our Sales Team on customer visits

We're looking for someone who:
- Has previous customer service experience
- Has excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Enjoys building strong customer relationships
- Is organised, proactive, and able to prioritise a busy workload
- Is confident using IT systems and Microsoft Office
- Has a good knowledge of UK geography
- Works well both independently and as part of a team
Experience within the logistics or transport industry would be an advantage but is not essential, as full training will be provided.
