About the role
As a Customer Service Advisor at Chemist4U, you’ll be the first point of contact for our customers, delivering exceptional support across all communication channels. You’ll handle enquiries with confidence, resolve issues quickly and accurately, provide helpful after‑sales support, and maintain a high level of professionalism to ensure every interaction builds lasting customer relationships.
Reporting to: Customer Service Team Leader
Job type: Permanent
Working Pattern & Hours: This is a full-time position of 37.5 hours per week, working Monday to Friday, 1:00pm–9:30pm, with one Saturday shift every four weeks. During the training period, your hours will be Monday to Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm.
Location: (Office located: Lancashire, WN8)

• Respond to customer enquiries via phone, email and webchat, promptly and professionally.
• Provide support to customers post-sales to build lasting relationships.
• Provide accurate information regarding products, services, and orders.
• Handle complaints at first point of contact, resolving issues efficiently to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Process transactions such as, orders, returns, and refunds in accordance with company policies.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products and services to assist customers effectively.
• Collaborate with internal teams to address customer concerns and improve service.
• Keep detailed and accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.
• Follow company procedures and regulatory guidelines for handling customer data.
About You
A positive individual who is passionate about providing exceptional customer service, adaptable, a good communicator who displays empathy, can build customer relationships and have a proven ability to take ownership of issues, working as a team to address customer needs.
Qualifications & Experience
To be successful in this role, you’ll bring the following skills, experience, and qualities:
• Proven written communication skills – ability to write clear and professional responses.
• Good interpersonal skills – ability to engage positively with customers and colleagues.
• Good communicator – clear and effective verbal and written communication.
• Customer service expertise – experience in a customer-facing role.
• Organisational skills – ability to multitask and prioritise workload effectively.
• Attention to detail and accuracy – ensure all customer information is handled correctly.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure – handle high volumes of customer enquiries efficiently.
