Customer Service Advisor

Location: Cardiff

Contract: 3 months - August to November

Work Setup: Hybrid - 2 days in the office

What You'll Do

  • Deliver exceptional customer service by understanding customer needs and providing support through inbound and outbound calls, email, webchat, and written correspondence to achieve positive customer outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with legislative, regulatory, and internal policies by following established procedures, identifying, and resolving compliance issues, and protecting the interests of customers and the business.
  • Take ownership of delivering a personalised customer experience by working collaboratively with colleagues, sharing knowledge, and providing subject matter expertise to achieve the best outcomes.
  • Investigate, prioritise, and resolve customer complaints promptly, using customer feedback to improve service delivery and enhance the overall customer experience.
  • Identify and support improvements to processes, procedures, and customer journeys to increase service quality and operational efficiency.
  • Deliver high-quality customer service across Retail Operations by applying specialist knowledge, sharing best practice, and supporting the development of colleagues.
  • Provide customers with clear, timely, and relevant information throughout the product lifecycle, ensuring compliance with Consumer Duty requirements and enabling informed financial decisions.

What You Bring

  • Proven customer service experience with a strong understanding of diverse customer needs and the ability to deliver positive customer outcomes.
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems and technologies to meet business and customer requirements.
  • Good commercial awareness with an understanding of the impact of business decisions on customer service and operational performance.
