A typical day as a Customer Service Advisor
No two days look exactly the same here, and that’s part of what makes it work.
As a Customer Service Advisor, you’ll play a key part in keeping things moving for our customers, suppliers, and The Pros around you. You’ll take ownership, solve problems properly, and work with people across the business to make things simpler, faster, and better.
You’ll be trusted to get stuck in, make decisions, and see things through.
What you’ll be doing
- Deliver outstanding customer service by responding to customer enquiries and requests in a timely manner, ensuring agreed service levels are consistently achieved.
- Support customers throughout the ordering process, providing product recommendations and guidance to meet their needs.
- Process customer orders accurately and manage the fulfilment process from order placement through to successful completion.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships, acting as a key point of contact and ensuring a positive customer experience.
- Resolve customer queries and issues efficiently, working collaboratively with internal teams to achieve effective outcomes.
- Identify sales opportunities and work closely with Key Account Managers to support revenue growth, customer retention, and account development.
What you’ll bring

- Passion for delivering exceptional customer service and creating positive customer experiences.
- Proven ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues to achieve successful outcomes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the confidence to engage professionally at all levels.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail when processing customer information and orders.
- Proactive and solution-focused approach, with the ability to resolve customer queries effectively and efficiently.
