Customer Service Advisor

Customer Service Advisor – Willenhall, UK

About the Role

As a Customer Service Advisor at the Door Hardware Group (part of the ASSA ABLOY Group), you’ll play a key role in ensuring our customers receive exceptional service. You’ll be the friendly, knowledgeable voice of our business—handling queries, placing orders, and delivering resolutions with efficiency and care.


Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Support & Sales Guidance:

    • Provide advice and answers to customer queries about our product and service offerings.
    • Process customer orders, promote available tools, and communicate updates on order status and delivery progress.
  • Operational Excellence:

    • Answer customer calls within agreed Service Levels.
    • Ensure clear call call wrap-ups to maintain high service standards.
    • Handle price holds, stock holds, and credit holds, owning their resolution to enhance customer satisfaction.
    • Maintain accuracy in the CRM system, updating records with completeness and consistency.
    • Manage complaints effectively, escalating to the Customer Services Manager as needed for swift resolution.

  • Have experience in a high-pressure, service-driven role.
  • Demonstrate ability to work under tight deadlines while maintaining problem-solving determination.
  • Exude a friendly, professional telephone demeanour that builds trust with customers.
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office packages with solid computer support skills.
  • Display confidence and resilience in managing difficult situations and tackling conflict.
