Customer Consultant – Solus (Vehicle Repair & Customer Experience)
About the Role
The Customer Consultant role at Solus revolves around clear communication, organisational skills and an unwavering focus on customer experience. As the key point of contact, you’ll support customers throughout their repair journey while ensuring smooth daily operations on site.
This is a hands-on, varied role that blends customer service, coordination and vehicle logistics, requiring strong judgement, organisation and professionalism. You’ll balance customer care with practical, site-based responsibilities to maintain high service standards.
Responsibilities
You’ll be responsible for:
- Updating customers on the progress of their vehicle repair
- Handling queries professionally and efficiently, with clear and timely responses
- Safely collecting and delivering customer vehicles when required
- Arranging and coordinating vehicle movements and transport
- Supporting site operations, including parts coordination and administrative tasks
- Collaborating closely with technicians, production teams and site leaders
- Ensuring the site remains welcoming, organised and professional
Reliability, attention to detail and empathy are critical in building customer confidence—this role makes a real difference.

Qualifications & Experience
While no formal qualifications are required, what matters most is your attitude, people skills and hands-on approach. You’ll need:
- Strong customer service experience, ideally in a customer-facing role
- A full UK driving licence with confidence in driving customer vehicles
- Excellent communication skills (both face-to-face and on the phone)
- A calm, organised approach to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Pride in representing Solus professionally
- A positive, team-focused mindset
