A well-established international manufacturer and distributor is seeking a French-speaking Customer Service Advisor to join its busy European Customer Service team based in Greenford. Operating across Europe, Africa and the Middle East, the business supplies customers globally from its UK manufacturing and distribution operation.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced customer service professional looking to join a stable and growing organisation with genuine long-term career prospects.

The Role

Working as part of an established team of customer service professionals, you will act as a key point of contact for customers across multiple international markets, managing orders and enquiries while ensuring an outstanding level of service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing customer enquiries via telephone and email.
  • Processing customer orders and ensuring accurate delivery information is provided.
  • Preparing quotations and responding to product availability requests.
  • Liaising with internal departments including warehouse, production, logistics and sales teams.
  • Resolving customer issues and ensuring timely follow-up.
  • Maintaining accurate customer and order records within internal systems.
  • Supporting customers across European and international markets.
  • Building strong relationships with existing customers and stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Fluent French language skills (written and spoken) – essential.
  • Additional European language skills would be advantageous.
  • Previous experience in a customer service, customer support, sales support or order processing position.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Experience using ERP, order management or customer service systems (Oracle experience is beneficial but not essential).
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced office environment.
  • Manufacturing, logistics, distribution or technical product experience would be advantageous but is not required.

Working Hours

  • Monday to Thursday: 8:00am – 5:00pm
  • Friday: 8:00am – 12:00pm
  • Occasional Friday afternoon cover required on a rota basis, paid as overtime.
