Customer Service Advisor

Join Our Team as a Customer Service Advisor!

Are you passionate about making a difference in your community? An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Customer Service Advisor to join our Adult Social Care Connect Team on a permanent basis.

Position Details:

  • Hours: 37 hours per week
  • Schedule: Monday to Thursday, 9am to 5:30pm; Friday, 9am to 5pm
  • Location: On-site The Independent Living Centre, Smethwick, B66 1JE (no hybrid working available)

Role Overview:

As a Customer Service Advisor in a contact centre, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the customer experience for individuals accessing Adult Social Care services. Your efforts will directly contribute to promoting wellbeing within our local communities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle incoming calls and process service requests from customers across multiple channels
  • Actively listen and communicate clearly with customers
  • Utilise excellent IT skills to navigate various systems and applications
  • Deliver a service focused on customer experience and care

Qualifications:

  • GCSE in English and Maths (or equivalent qualifications)
  • Ability to provide evidence of qualifications, including a Maths GCSE or higher in this subject area.

Requirements:

  • Self-motivated and organized
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Experience in a busy Contact Centre environment
  • A standard DBS check
