About the Role

The Customer Consultant role at Solus emphasises clear communication, organisation, and exceptional customer experience. As a key point of contact, you’ll support customers through their repair journey while ensuring smooth day-to-day site operations.

This varied, hands-on position combines customer service, coordination, and practical vehicle handling, requiring strong judgement, organisational skills, and a professional approach. You’ll balance customer care with site-based responsibilities.

Responsibilities

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Keeping customers updated on their vehicle repair progress
  • Handling queries calmly and professionally, providing clear and timely responses
  • Collecting and delivering customer vehicles safely and courteously when needed
  • Arranging and coordinating vehicle movements and transport activities
  • Supporting site operations, including parts coordination and basic administration
  • Collaborating closely with technicians, production teams, and site leaders
  • Maintaining a welcoming, organised, and professional site environment

Reliability, attention to detail, and empathy are crucial to building customer confidence.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
