Are you an experienced Service Advisor looking for a fresh opportunity within a friendly, forward-thinking dealership group?
Penton Motor Group is looking for a confident, organised and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our busy Aftersales team at either our Christchurch or Poole dealership.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone already working within the motor trade who understands the pace of a busy Service Department and enjoys delivering great customer service.

£1,500 bonus opportunity for direct applicants
We are offering a bonus incentive for candidates who apply to us directly and are not introduced through a recruitment agency.
You Will Receive:
- £500 bonus payment once you have successfully completed your probation period.
- £1,000 bonus payment once you have completed your manufacturer accreditations.

What You Will Be Doing
As a Service Advisor, you will be one of the key links between our customers and the workshop. Your day-to-day role will include:
- Welcoming customers and booking vehicles in for service, MOT, repair and diagnostic work.
- Listening carefully to customer concerns and accurately recording vehicle requirements.
- Keeping customers updated throughout the day.
- Liaising with technicians, parts and workshop control.
- Explaining recommended work clearly and professionally.
- Gaining customer authorisation for additional work.
- Preparing invoices and taking payments.
- Helping to deliver a smooth, professional and positive customer experience.
- Supporting the department with diary control and administration.
What We Are Looking For
We are looking for someone who is confident, organised and comfortable working in a busy aftersales environment.
You Will Ideally Have:
- Previous experience as a Service Advisor, Aftersales Advisor, Service Receptionist, Workshop Controller or similar motor trade role.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both face to face and over the phone.
- The ability to stay calm and organised under pressure.
- Good attention to detail.
- Confidence using dealership systems and digital processes.
- A positive, professional and team-focused attitude.
- A full UK driving licence.
