Hours: Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm (overtime as required and alternate Saturdays as agreed)
Salary: Apprenticeship Minimum Wage
Apprenticeship Level: Level 2 Customer Service Practitioner
Duration: 12 months (including End Point Assessment)

Crawford's Agricultural Machinery, was founded in October 1980 by Bob Crawford, initially focused on the buying and selling of used farm machinery. Over the years, their expertise has evolved, and they now specialise in sales, servicing, and parts for farm machinery and 4×4 vehicles. They are proudly serving customers across Essex, Hertfordshire, Kent, West Sussex, Surrey, Hampshire, Berkshire and beyond and provide the best products, expert advice, and reliable aftersales support.
About The Role
As an Apprentice Customer Service Representative, you will become a trusted point of contact for our customers, supporting them with enquiries and needs. You’ll also gain experience handling more complex or technical customer queries and help ensure a smooth and professional customer journey from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for customer service enquiries
- Communicate effectively with internal departments and customers to resolve queries
- Maintain up-to-date product and technical knowledge
- Support continuous improvement in the customer experience
- Provide timely and accurate quotations and process orders
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet service standards and customer expectations

Essential Skills
We are looking for candidates who want to kickstart their career and who are keen to learn. You’ll need to be someone who stands out from the crowd, who challenges preconceptions, is forward thinking and eager to learn. Our apprentices are integral to our business. You are able to prioritise and work to timelines. A willingness to work in a customer focused environment using your own initiative. A full UK Driving licence is preferred but not essential. You must have or expect to gain GCSE Level 4 or above in Maths and English. If you are working towards these qualifications, please state this in your application.
