Customer Service Assistant

We’re looking for a friendly and customer-focused Customer Service Assistant to join our team. This is a key role in creating an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. If you’re passionate about retail, enjoy helping people, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we’d love to hear from you.

About The Role

  • Contract: Permanent
  • Hours: Part-time
  • Hours of Work: 12 Hours per week, working Saturday and Sunday

As a Customer Service Assistant, you’ll play an important part in maximising store performance by delivering outstanding service and supporting the presentation and availability of products. From assisting with stock management to offering knowledgeable advice, you’ll ensure every interaction reflects our values: Customer First, Honest, Committed, Knowledgeable, Courageous, and Innovative.

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Delivering excellent customer service that is friendly, respectful, and solution-focused
  • Supporting the store team in maximising sales opportunities through product knowledge
  • Taking ownership of a designated department and driving sales through merchandising and promotions
  • Reviewing stock levels and adjusting seasonally to meet customer needs
  • Processing goods inwards and maintaining stock file accuracy
  • Ensuring visual merchandising standards are met and the store is well-presented
  • Becoming proficient in cash handling and following company procedures
  • Working in line with health & safety guidelines and GDPR compliance

About You

  • No previous experience required, full training will be provided
  • Strong retail disciplines and a passion for customer service
  • Good IT skills and ability to manage systems accurately
  • Awareness of Health & Safety and GDPR compliance
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Confident, enthusiastic, and approachable attitude
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
  • Flexible and adaptable to meet the needs of the business
