Customer Service Assistant - Nights
Customer Service Assistant (Nights) – Coventry
Hourly Rate: £13.45 Contract: Permanent (27 hours per week) Working Hours: Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays, 9pm – 6am
About the Role
Vita Student’s next-generation apartment design provides stylish studios that balance privacy and communal living. Our residents enjoy luxury, comfort, and premium amenities in a vibrant city setting. We’re seeking a Night-Time Customer Service Assistant to deliver an exceptional, home-from-home experience while maintaining the highest standards of site and facility upkeep.
Key Responsibilities

Deliver outstanding customer service:
- Anticipate and meet resident needs with a personalised, welcoming approach
- Offer advice on local attractions and handle enquiries professionally
- Ensure seamless, positive interactions while maintaining site standards

Front of House / Reception duties:
- Greet students and guests with a warm, friendly, energetic demeanour
- Provide prompt support for urgent questions or concerns

Maintain site cleanliness & facilities:
- Clean and maintain communal areas to a high standard, especially during quieter nighttime shifts
- Conduct scheduled block walks every 4–6 hours, documenting observations and reporting issues
- Replenish refreshments (e.g. coffee beans, tea bags, milk) and vending machine supplies

Logistics & security:
- Manage and store parcels ensuring easy student access
- Adhere to waste management policies while addressing potential health & safety hazards
- Be the primary emergency contact for any incidents or crises onsite

General upkeep:
- Guarantee all facilities are used respectfully by residents and guests
- Offer proactive solutions for challenges or maintenance issues that arise
Requirements
Professional Experience
- Proven experience as a customer service professional, skilled in providing premium service
- Cleaning knowledge or experience (non-professional but hands-on approach is essential)
- Technologically adept with the ability to use various software and systems efficiently

Strong communication skills (primarily in English, but multilingual candidates welcome)

- Properties are open 24/7, 356 days per year (including holidays)
