About the role
We’re looking for a friendly, helpful person to join the team in our Norwich branch. The role is at the heart of the local community, supporting a wide range of customers, in a welcoming environment, where every day is different.
This role will suit someone who’s at ease talking to lots of different people and able to support their needs in a caring, friendly and efficient manner. It involves finding solutions for our customers, keeping up to date with our services, policies and procedures as well as staying on top of admin. Dealing with cash transactions carefully and accurately are among its key responsibilities, as well as taking telephone calls for our greater Customer Service area.

About you
For this role you’ll be a people person and it’ll be important that you can engage with a diverse range of people, find out how to help them best and give them a great experience with us.
To be successful in this role its essential you have:
- Current experience in a customer focused role (e.g. retail, hospitality or call centre)
- Experience of interacting directly with customers and providing a great service on a daily basis
- Good attention to detail with experience of processing customer details or data accurately
Desirable experience will include:
- Experience of cash handling
- Following policies and processes
- Ability to deal with more challenging or sensitive customer situations
