About the Role
Job Title: Customer Services Agent
Work Schedule:
- Monday to Friday – 40 hours per week
- Varied shift patterns, with weekend coverage as required
Job Purpose: To deliver an enhanced level of customer service and operational support. The Customer Services Agent will handle shipment-specific and service-related queries, ensuring seamless operations.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Monitor all shipments daily to confirm collection and delivery alignment with agreed timelines.
- Develop excellent working relationships with internal and external customers, including patients, by ensuring transparency and timely updates throughout the process.
- Process booking requests in the Marken internal database, generating and verifying shipping documentation as required.
- Collaborate with relevant departments (Global and Domestic Marken network) to meet customer expectations.
- Coordinate with Marken offices and Local Service Providers to enhance logistics efficiency, ensuring desired turnaround times.
- Input new clinical trial sites into the company’s internal database.
- Manage telephone, email, and internal communication with external clients and colleagues, resolving queries promptly.
- Prepare, verify, and distribute country-specific project documentation.
- Attend customer meetings and teleconferences as scheduled.

Requirements
Essential:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
- Strong computer literacy (internet, intranet, Teams).
- Thorough knowledge of Aviation and Airline networks.
- Excellent communication skills, ability to influence others diplomatically.
- Strong problem-solving and prioritisation skills.
- Team player mentality with the ability to work independently where applicable.
- Flexibility in working hours, including weekend coverage as required.
