About the Role
Are you looking to take on a role in Operations and Customer Service? Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has an exciting opportunity for you as a Customer Service Associate.

The Role
As a Customer Service Associate, you’ll deliver exceptional support via phone, chat, and email, resolving customer queries efficiently while upholding quality and compliance standards. This is a fast-paced, onsite role (5 days in the office) where you’ll:
- Maintain outstanding customer service with a friendly, cooperative attitude in a high-volume environment.
- Follow communication scripts, canned responses, and email templates to meet customer needs effectively.
- Complete shift duties, capture updates, and handoffs as required.
- Meet key metrics: Quality, CSAT, AHT (Average Handling Time), Compliance, Attendance & Adherence.
- Adhere to internal policies to ensure compliance with legal requirements and company procedures.

Responsibilities
- Handle customer queries (phone, chat, email) with efficiency and professionalism.
- Problem-solve actively to ensure positive resolutions.
- Uphold scalability, co-operation, and adherence to company standards.
- Collaborate with teammates and engage with target-oriented goals.
Requirements
Essential
- Experience providing customer support over the phone, webchat, and email.
- Ability to handle high call/email/chat volumes with varied queries.
- Comfort in multi-tasking (managing multiple tabs/windows) on a desktop.
- Experience working in a team environment, promoting a positive work culture.
- Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to excellence.
- Willingness to navigate/learn multiple computer systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills with timely resolution.
- Demonstrated written/verbal English proficiency (both spoken and written).
- Interpersonal skills to foster relationships and adaptability.
Desirable
- Previous insurance customer service experience (though not mandatory).
