Export Customer Service Coordinator
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Export Customer Service Coordinator to join our Freight Management team in Hounslow. This role plays a critical part in ensuring export shipments are processed accurately and efficiently while delivering exceptional service to customers.
You will act as a key point of contact for customers, managing export orders from receipt through to completion, ensuring all shipments are processed within agreed service levels and customer KPIs. Working closely with operational teams and shared service colleagues, you will build strong customer relationships, provide proactive shipment updates, and help identify opportunities to enhance service delivery and support business growth.
Responsibilities
- Manage export customer orders and ensure accurate shipment processing within internal systems.
- Coordinate with operational and shared service teams to ensure export shipments are entered and executed correctly.
- Monitor shipments against agreed customer KPIs and service commitments.
- Provide timely and proactive milestone updates to customers.
- Act as the primary point of contact for customer enquiries and shipment-related issues.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to support retention and growth.
- Support the development of customer account plans and joint business initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to improve customer solutions and expand service offerings.
- Collaborate closely with Business Development teams on customer opportunities, tenders, and solution proposals.
- Ensure operational processes are followed and continuous service improvements are delivered.

Requirements
We are looking for a proactive, customer-focused logistics professional with experience in export freight forwarding and customer service. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, confidently managing multiple shipments while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
