The Head Office of the Recycling Loop, in Telford you’ll join over 300 colleagues who are all working toward one shared goal: a world without waste.

About the role Do you have customer service experience in an office, retail or hospitality? Maybe you’re working in an administration role, but not yet had the chance to speak to customers on the phone. As Customer Service Coordinator in the Business & Industry team, your focus will be on providing exceptional service to an extensive range of customers, building, and nurturing strong relationships with key contacts and providing support on a variety of communication platforms. If you are enthusiastic, driven, and ready to join a supportive team who thrive on great customer satisfaction and achieving KPI’s, then look no further. You would be expected to maintain up to date knowledge of the sector’s products and services, which will aid you in understanding the expectations and specific needs of the customers. It’s important that you are organised, proactive and willing to investigate customer complaints/enquiries, taking ownership of the instance and being a point of contact from start to finish. Additional Information: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. 8:30am to 5pm, with 1 hour for lunch. First 3 months will be working from the Telford office 5 days a week, then after the 3 months the option for hybrid working with a minimum requirement of 3 days worked from the office. The occasional Saturday shift is a requirement and will be worked from home, 8am-12pm. This is done on a rota basis, roughly 1 in 7 weeks, and is paid at a fixed rate.

What we need from you Experience in customer service, whether that be in an office, retail or hospitality. Comfortable with working under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Effective communication skills both written and verbal. IT Literate, a good ability with Microsoft programmes such as Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams. Good attention to detail to ensure accuracy when placing orders.
