Your responsibilities will include:
- Installing, repairing, and maintaining Malvern Panalytical instruments across the UK.
- Ensuring high customer satisfaction through responsive, technical service delivery.
What You’ll Bring to the Role

Proactive problem-solving:
- Independently diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve issues with instrumentation.
- Keep documentation up-to-date (work orders, mileage reports, etc.).

Customer training & support:
- Deliver product training sessions (primary focus on installation safety)...
- Support customers remotely via phone & PC.
- Extensive travel required for on-site customer installations and repairs—overnight stays may be needed.

- Technical & logistical leadership:
- Responsible for managing tools, software, spare parts, and company vehicles in alignment with company guidelines.
- Keep abreast of product advances—contribute to feedback and improvements.
About You
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Any HND (Higher National Diploma) or equivalent level qualifications in Electronics or Chemistry.
- Work experience:
- Demonstrated experience in customer site visits or hands-on field service environments (key but not mandatory).
- Experience working with X-ray-based scientific instrumentation (registers you as a preferred candidate).
- Must possess a current, full UK driving license.

- Capable of working independently and autonomously in demanding field situations.
- Endurende customer-facing roles with metro-longing clarity in communication.
- Flexible—given the extensive travel coverage across the UK.
