Are you a proactive, customer-focused professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment? We're looking for a Customer Service & Export Administrator to join our team and play a key role in ensuring excellent service for our customers across the UK and international markets.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong organisational skills, export administration experience, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
What You'll Be Doing
As part of our Customer Service team, you'll be responsible for managing customer orders from receipt through to delivery, ensuring a seamless experience every step of the way.
Key responsibilities include:
- Processing customer purchase orders into sales orders accurately and efficiently
- Liaising with Planning and Warehouse teams regarding product availability
- Coordinating transport bookings with our logistics partners
- Completing export and customs documentation
- Obtaining and processing external documentation, including Certificates of Origin and Phytosanitary Certificates
- Preparing and issuing final customer documentation
- Keeping customers updated on order and delivery progress
- Handling enquiries from customers, agents, and distributors
- Raising and progressing customer complaints in collaboration with the Customer Complaints Lead
- Supporting Sales Managers with customer sales data
- Assisting with sales quotations and logistics cost recovery charges
- Providing support and cover for colleagues during annual leave and absences
- Contributing positively to team objectives and continuous improvement initiatives

What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate will:
- Enjoy working in a busy office environment with a strong customer focus
- Have experience preparing export shipping documentation
- Be a confident communicator, both by telephone and email
- Have excellent organisational and time management skills
- Be able to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
- Be flexible, adaptable, and happy to support colleagues when needed
- Demonstrate a friendly, professional, and positive attitude
- Be proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Have experience with SAP (desirable but not essential)
