The company’s operations are split across North America (11 manufacturing plants) and Europe (16 manufacturing plants). Headquartered in Dublin, Ireland, IPL Schoeller is a leading manufacturer of sustainable rigid packaging solutions for returnable transit packaging, consumer and industrial packaging, environmental containers, and agricultural packaging. The company employs approximately 4,100 employees across the regions (1,600 in North America and 2,500 in Europe).
Logtek Ltd
Logtek Ltd was founded in 1996, providing logistics and operational services for the control and management of returnable transit packaging (RTP)—primarily plastic trays and bulk containers used in the grocery and retail supply chain. Logtek’s core functions include:
- Hygienic tray washing via industrial machinery processes
- RTP rental services
- Equipment repair
- Asset Management of customers’ RTP using bespoke and innovative technology

The Role
This position involves full comprehensive support to the M&S Equipment Manager, ensuring Asset Management is accurately and proactively managed and implemented to deliver tangible benefits to M&S, M&S Suppliers, and Logtek.
- Location: Based at Logtek’s Head Office in Quinton, Birmingham.
- Hours: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday (Hybrid working—Monday and Friday from home).
Key Responsibilities
- Production and proactive management of relevant KPI reports (timely delivery)
- Key contact for Lintracker issues
- Supplier and depot support (queries resolution, balance amendments)
- Answering incoming helpdesk calls and logging them
- Actioning emails within agreed service-level agreements (SLAs)
- Raising Purchase Orders
- Booking transport (staying within budget, logging bookings)
- Negotiating with transport providers for best pricing
- Allocating and producing weekly Supplier orders
- Managing ‘Q Box’ (supplier orders/availability for holiday cover)
- Checking and authorising Haulier Invoices for payments
- Producing data analyses as requested
- Booking damaged equipment deliveries
- Generating a ‘no equipment report’ daily for M&S
- Weekly ‘Irish Collection report’ for M&S
- Performing ad hoc work as requested by the M&S Equipment Manager / M&S Contract Manager

Requirements & Personal Attributes
- Confident, professional, and polished style with strong communication skills
- Highly motivated self-starter with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset and ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Previous experience in stock control or customer service, ideally in Retail, Logistics, or Manufacturing sectors
- Proactive team player—able to work independently or within a small team
- Demonstrated experience in Asset Management or relevant operational roles
