About the Business
From a modest Bradford market stall to becoming the UK’s fifth largest supermarket, Morrisons is proud to be a Yorkshire food retailer with over 500 stores and an expanding online home delivery service. As a business primarily focused on food & grocery, we source and process much of our fresh products through our own manufacturing facilities.

The Role
We are recruiting a high performing Customer Service Manager to help us grow and succeed further.
Reporting to the Store Manager, your key responsibilities will include:
- Leading and empowering colleagues to prioritise exceptional customer service
- Actively listening to and responding to customer feedback
- Ensuring market-leading product availability throughout the store
- Collaborating with other store managers to drive supportive and high-performance team culture
- Managing schedules, attendance, performance, and talent development within assigned departments
- Delivering training to boost team confidence and capability
- Enabling seamless cross-department collaboration
- Identifying and nurturing talent within the customer service team
- Building strong relationships with other operational departments
- Inspiring colleagues to achieve outstanding performance against department-specific targets
- Taking a proactive leadership role within the store
- Ensuring efficient resource and planning

Ideal Candidate (About You)
We value passion and drive more than experience. If you have:
- Backgrounds in retail, hospitality, travel & tourism, or a service-oriented role
- Strong customer service ethos
- Experience managing teams in fast-paced environments
- Exceptional communication skills to share knowledge and best practices.
- The ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders across all areas while remaining adaptable
- Effective problem-solving skills and an ability to challenge and adapt to change
- The capacity to actively listen and respond to both customers and colleagues daily
