Customer Service & Operations Advisor (FTC) Department: Branch Customer Service Employment Type: Contract / Temp Location: Speedy Freight- UK Reporting To: Branch Manager Compensation: £24,000 / year

As a Customer Service Advisor, you’ll be at the heart of our operation. You’ll speak to customers, manage bookings, and help ensure deliveries run smoothly from start to finish. This is a great opportunity for someone at entry level who wants to develop communication, sales, and logistics experience.

Key Responsibilities Taking customer bookings over the phone and entering details into our systems Speaking with customers to agree pricing and delivery options Supporting the sales team by booking appointments with potential new customers Working closely with Customer Services and Sales to meet performance targets Promoting Speedy Freight’s services to new and existing customers Managing multiple tasks in a busy, deadline-driven environment Communicating clearly and professionally with customers and colleagues Being flexible to support the on-call rota when required

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Confident and friendly telephone manner Good written and spoken English and basic maths skills (GCSE level) Comfortable using IT systems (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook) Organised, reliable, and able to multitask Willingness to learn and develop new skills A positive attitude with a strong focus on customer service Previous customer service or phone-based experience is helpful but not essential — full training will be provided.
