Customer Service Representative
The Customer Service Representative Role
This position is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to both internal and external stakeholders, leveraging deep product expertise and seamless collaboration within the service team.
Responsibilities
Key duties include:
- Managing outbound customer communications regarding warranty orders, ensuring requirements are accurately conveyed to internal teams.
- Documenting outcomes from follow-up calls, analysing trends, and proposing actionable solutions to leadership.
- Expediting and overseeing order changes, specialty items, and delayed shipments, with a focus on delivery oversight.
- Processing invoicing, credits, and ensuring adherence to company documentation policies.
- Utilising Hussmann’s Parts Oracle System to log customer details, generate compliance costs, and monitor order workflows.
- Resolving product delivery issues with clear, customer-centric communication for successful transactions.
- Collaborating with Parts Representatives to track orders pre-shipment, maintaining accuracy in system records.
- Ensuring the integrity of:
- Customer transaction data
- Warranty Parts Ordering & Tracking Systems
- Monitoring and improving processes related to freight claims and returns.
- Adapting to a dynamic workload, including on-call and weekend availability when required.
- Serving as the Voice of the Customer, holding the Performance Parts Team accountable for delivering top-tier service.

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
- Secondary school diploma (Bachelor’s preferred).
- 0-2 years of customer service experience.
- Flexibility to work evenings/weekends as needed.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Soft Skills
- Exceptional verbal and written communication.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.
- Strong organisational skills with a keen eye for detail.
Preferred Skills
- Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) proficiency.
- Experience managing competing priorities and tight deadlines.
