Customer Service Representative – Legal & General (L&G)

Job Description
We’re seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our Customer Admin team in Hove in a hybrid role. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative attitude. No specialist financial knowledge is required—full training will be provided.
Salary: £24,720 (full-time)
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting customers with policy administration queries across range of servicing tasks
- Processing policy amendments, top-ups, and maintenance activities accurately
- Managing trust-related administration, including trust forms and updates
- Maintaining customer records across internal systems
- Communicating clearly via written channels and occasional outbound calls
- Following internal processes and regulatory standards for better customer outcomes
- Collaborating with teammates to resolve issues and streamline workflows
- Contributing to a productive team environment while learning new processes

Who We’re Looking For
- Ex強 written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent administrative abilities with a high level of detail-orientation
- Confidence working with new systems and processes
- Customer-focused mindset and cooperative approach
- Ability to prioritise tasks and manage workload effectively
- Reliability, professionalism, and strong workplace behaviours
- Transferable experience in customer service, admin, or process-led roles
- Previous experience in financial services or insurance (not essential)
