Shop Assistant – Retail (William Hill)

Your Role & Responsibilities

Customer Engagement
- Welcome customers with warmth and professionalism
- Process bets efficiently and assist with customer queries
- Guide customers on how to use betting terminals

Service Excellence
- Build lasting relationships with customers
- Deliver outstanding customer service at all times
- Champion safer gambling practices proactively

Operations & Team Support
- Assist managers with shop displays and daily shop openings/closings
- Contribute to a welcoming, well-organised retail environment

Working Patterns
- Flexible and varied to cover customer needs (8am–10pm, Monday–Sunday)
- Rotating shifts including evenings and weekends
- Rota-based scheduling (subject to change)

Requirements
- Aged 18+ (due to legal regulations)
- Passionate about service with strong people skills
- Empathy and adaptability to connect with customers from all backgrounds
