Full-Time | 37.5 Hours per Week (Monday-Friday) | hybrid working

About The Role

As a Customer Service Representative, you will play a key role in providing outstanding support to customers, suppliers, and internal teams. Acting as the first point of contact, you will ensure queries are handled efficiently, orders are processed accurately, and strong working relationships are maintained.

This is a busy and varied role where no two days are the same. You'll be responsible for ensuring a seamless customer experience while supporting the wider business through effective communication, organisation, and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Support

  • Act as the first point of contact for customer enquiries via phone and email.
  • Process customer orders accurately using internal systems.
  • Provide updates on deliveries, stock availability, and order progress.
  • Resolve customer queries and complaints professionally and efficiently.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Deliver a high standard of customer care at all times.

Order & Supply Coordination

  • Coordinate supplier and purchase orders where required.
  • Liaise with suppliers, warehouses, and logistics partners to ensure smooth order fulfilment.
  • Monitor stock levels and support inventory management processes.
  • Investigate and resolve issues such as delays, damages, or discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure internal systems are kept up to date.

Team & Process Support

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across different departments.
  • Support continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance processes and customer experience.
  • Manage workloads effectively and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Provide general administrative support as required.

About You

We're looking for someone who thrives in a customer-focused environment and enjoys delivering solutions.

You'll Have

  • ✅ Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • ✅ Previous experience in a customer service, administration, or order-processing role
  • ✅ Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • ✅ A positive, proactive, and solutions-focused attitude
  • ✅ Confidence working with numbers and maintaining accurate records
  • ✅ Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel
  • ✅ The ability to remain calm and professional when handling customer queries and resolving issues
  • ✅ A strong team-player mindset with a willingness to support colleagues

Desirable

  • Experience using ERP or CRM systems
  • Previous experience within a supply chain, logistics, distribution, or manufacturing environment
  • GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent)
