Start your career in property and asset management
A national property and asset management organisation is looking for an organised and confident Property Case Handler to join its growing Exeter team.
You do not need previous property experience. Full training will be provided. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with experience in administration, customer service, legal support, finance or operations who wants to build a long-term career within property and financial services.
You will manage your own portfolio of residential and commercial property cases, working with tenants, lenders, estate agents, solicitors, contractors and other professional partners. The role is varied, fast-paced and comes with genuine responsibility from an early stage.
What will you be doing?
You will help manage properties where a lender has taken control following a breach of the mortgage agreement.
Depending on the circumstances, this could involve managing tenants, arranging repairs, collecting rent, instructing professional partners or helping prepare a property for sale.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
