We are currently seeking a team of Customer Service Specialists to support our Student Loans campaign, handling inbound calls to assist students with their university loan applications. Your responsibilities will include providing guidance on payments, eligibility, funding, and addressing any challenges related to their loan applications. Most importantly, you’ll play a crucial role in securing the academic future of students by helping manage their financial needs.
Job Overview
Role: Customer Service Specialist (Student Loans) Location: Work from Home – UK Based Start Date: Monday, 17th August 2026 (or as agreed after successful checks) Contract: Permanent Hours: 40 hours per week Campaign Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM (no weekend work) Shift Timings: Arranged by the company within the above hours
This is a full-time role, and we cannot accommodate part-time applications or those unable to commit to the required schedule. Essential Requirements:
- Pass an online assessment and an AI role-play interview. Successful completion of both is necessary to progress further in the application process.
Salary: £12.71 per hour
Training:
- 11 days of remote, classroom-based training (9:00 AM – 6:00 PM)
- 10 days of exposure in our virtual training environment ("Nesting"), scheduled after training.
- Full attendance is mandatory during the first 4 weeks. No holidays or leave will be accepted at this stage.

- Background Checks:
- Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) clearance and a credit check (noted: only overriding CCJs or bankruptcy will be considered).

What a DayCheratical Overview Responsibilities
An average day involves:
- Maintaining up to 9 hours of engagement (including unpaid breaks for 1 hour of lunch).
- Signing into systems to start call handling.
- Interacting with a variety of customer needs, from general inquiries to those being challenging or frustrated.
You will thrive in a fast-paced environment with high call volume, handling multiple customer interactions daily.
