About The Role
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Representative to join our team on a full-time basis. This role is pivotal in ensuring our customers enjoy a positive and seamless experience throughout their car rental journey. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be the face of Switch, assisting customers with their rental needs, resolving issues promptly, and providing expert guidance on our services. Your excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to operate efficiently in a fast-paced environment will contribute significantly to our goal of delivering outstanding customer service. The role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to start or retrain in a customer-facing position, regardless of prior experience.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service and communication skills, with a strong focus on delivering a positive customer experience. Proficiency in administrative tasks and computer skills is essential to effectively manage rental processes and maintain accurate records. A full driving license held for at least 12 months is mandatory, given the potential need to drive or assist with vehicle movements. Previous experience in customer service, retail, or hospitality sectors is advantageous but not essential, as comprehensive training will be provided. We welcome applicants who are motivated, adaptable, and eager to develop their skills within a supportive team environment.
Responsibilities
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Identifying and exceeding customer requirements by providing tailored solutions and support.
- Ensuring all administrative tasks related to rentals are completed accurately and efficiently on a daily basis, including verifying customer information, processing payments, and completing rental agreements.
- Coordinating the delivery and collection of rental vehicles to and from designated locations, requiring excellent organizational skills.
- Maintaining a thorough understanding of retail rental procedures and adhering to the Switch process to ensure compliance and consistency across operations.
- Responding to customer inquiries via phone and email, providing timely and professional assistance.
- Developing in-depth product knowledge to enable you to maximize customer satisfaction and identify opportunities for additional sales.
- Working within service level agreements to meet branch KPI objectives.
- Undertaking additional duties such as driving or vehicle cleaning, depending on operational needs.
