Customer Service Representative
Due to continued growth and market development, we are searching for an experienced Customer Service Representative to become an active team member supporting the UK sales region.
In this varied and challenging role, you will be responsible for the first customer contacts. We are looking for someone who has a passion for delivering exceptional customer service as a tool to sustain our growth. You provide our clients with excellent support and full solutions. Thanks to your commercial attitude and technical aptitude, you will enhance sales over the phone and by email. You will manage and follow up the end-to-end process from product selection, quoting, sales order entry up to the delivery of materials.
You will need to build strong relationships with our customers, sales and technical support teams and our Credit Department in Luxembourg.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide customers with price, lead time, product information, technical documents, etc. to influence decision making and maximize sales
- Prepare and follow up on quotes based on pricing guidelines from the commercial team
- Understand and convert customer requirements into orders in our SAP ERP system
- Process and follow up on incoming orders according to our established procedures
- Cooperate closely with the credit department to ensure reliable order fulfillment
- Liaise with the replenishment team and occasionally with suppliers
- Coordinate shipments to customers – liaise with the warehouse / carriers if necessary
- Check daily reports and act accordingly
- Additional administrative tasks upon request from the Local Operations Manager

Qualifications and Experience:
- This position requires experience of 3+ years in a commercial or customer service environment (ideally B-to-B)
- You have a technical aptitude and any experience in a technical environment (construction would be an advantage)
- You have excellent administrative skills and are attentive to details
- Knowledge of International business would be an advantage
- You are at ease with phone communication for order clarification
- You have an excellent command of English. Other language skills are also advantageous
- SAP experience is an advantage
- You have strong verbal and written communication skills, and you are a good team player
- You are a fast learner, a dynamic and agile multi-tasker and enjoy the challenges of a busy office environment
- You have a good knowledge and experience with IT tools

Reporting Line and Location:
This is an office-based role located either in Tipton, West Midlands or Epworth, North Lincolnshire, and reporting to the Local Operations Manager.
