Hours

  • 08:00-16:00 Monday to Friday

Location

  • Jewellery Quarter, Birmingham (on site)

Salary Range

  • £28,000-£30,000

We are looking for a friendly, proactive Customer Service & Sales Executive to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about delivering outstanding customer service, enjoys building relationships and has a natural ability to identify sales opportunities.

As a Customer Service & Sales Executive, you'll be the first point of contact for many of our customers, providing expert advice, resolving queries and supporting them throughout their buying journey. Working closely with colleagues across Sales, Production and Operations, you'll help ensure every customer receives a professional, knowledgeable and seamless experience.

What you'll be doing

Customer Service

  • Deliver a high standard of customer service across all customer interactions.
  • Accurately log enquiries and process customer orders using internal systems.
  • Resolve customer queries and complaints promptly, professionally and empathetically.
  • Build positive, long-lasting relationships with customers through excellent communication and support.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and ensure high-quality data is captured.
  • Act as the voice of the customer by sharing feedback with key stakeholders to improve the customer experience.

Sales Support

  • Identify buying opportunities and confidently explain the features and benefits of our products and services.
  • Educate customers on jewellery components, manufacturing processes and product suitability.
  • Support customers in selecting the most appropriate products for their requirements.
  • Assist the Sales team with customer enquiries, quotations, orders and product launches.
  • Promote additional products and services where appropriate to maximise sales opportunities.

Product Knowledge & Collaboration

  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of our jewellery products and manufacturing capabilities.
  • Work collaboratively with Production, Design and other departments to resolve customer issues efficiently.
  • Support continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance the customer journey.
  • Contribute to maintaining consistently high customer satisfaction levels.

What we're looking for

Essential

  • Previous experience in a customer service, sales support or customer-facing role.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong relationship-building and customer engagement skills.
  • Confident using CRM or customer management systems.
  • Good IT skills and experience using Microsoft Office.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy when processing customer information.
  • GCSE Maths (Grade C/4 or above) or equivalent.
  • A proactive approach with excellent problem-solving skills.

Desirable

  • Experience within a manufacturing, jewellery or product-based business.
  • Knowledge of jewellery products and manufacturing processes.
  • Experience supporting a sales function.
  • Understanding of stock control or production planning.
  • Experience handling customer complaints and resolutions.

You'll combine empathy with commercial awareness, recognising opportunities to add value while ensuring customers receive honest, knowledgeable advice.
