Job Description: Customer Service Advisor

Dometic Mobile Cooking UK is looking to recruit a Customer Service Advisor for their small, dedicated team based in Clitheroe. Working hours are 35 hours per week; flexible hours will be considered across 4 or 5 days per week.
About The Position
As a Customer Service Advisor, you will become a direct point of contact for our B2B and B2C customers, responsible for delivering high levels of service and satisfaction following internal policies and procedures. Some sales support will be required, with occasional weekend work (time off in lieu will be given).
Key Responsibilities
- Driving excellent customer service via phone and email
- To understand all internal procedures and operate them appropriately
- Processing general enquiries and warranty claims from end users and retail customers in a timely manner
- Processing returns, arranging repairs and organising replacement parts where applicable
- Liaising with couriers regarding deliveries
- Providing general sales support; processing orders and trade enquiries
- Support a busy seasonal show schedule with event bookings, compliance paperwork and co-ordination of event logistics
- Support in person at consumer events (approximately 5 per year) including venue set up and breakdown

Skills & Requirements
- Previous experience of working in a customer service environment ideally from a warranty type background
- Experience of working within a busy office environment
- Experience of balancing administrative duties whilst responding to telephone and email enquiries
To be successful in this role, we believe that you possess the following skills, competencies & characteristics:
- Confident telephone manner
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to effectively manage your own workload
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment whilst displaying close attention to detail
- A confident user of MS Office software including Outlook, Excel plus CRM systems
- Ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues with a positive, communicative, helpful mindset
- A proactive approach to problem-solving, taking full end to end ownership of every customer contact using your own initiative and available resources
- Desire and ability to develop technical knowledge
- A full UK Driving Licence
