Customer Service & Sales Support Representative

HR Manager, June 18th

Customer Service & Sales Support Representative

£26,255 per annum | 37.5 hours per week | Office-based with one day working from home

We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Customer Services & Sales Support Representative to join our dynamic Sales team. This is a varied and fast-paced role, where you’ll be at the heart of our customer experience, supporting both domestic and export markets.

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring smooth sales operations, delivering exceptional service, and supporting business growth through customer engagement and proactive outreach.


Main Duties & Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

  • Qualify and convert inbound leads
  • Conduct outbound calls to existing and prospective customers
  • Generate new business opportunities and build a strong sales pipeline
  • Schedule follow-ups and appointments for the Sales team

Customer Service & Engagement

  • Respond quickly and professionally to customer enquiries
  • Build strong relationships and handle objections confidingly
  • Maintain a positive and persuasive communication style

Order & Sales Support

  • Process customer orders accurately using ERP systems
  • Provide order updates and manage customer expectations
  • Track orders from enquiry-through to delivery

Logistics & Coordination

  • Liaise with production, planning, and logistics teams
  • Ensure on-time delivery and resolve any issues or delays
  • Support sample dispatches and meet sales team requests

Reporting & Administration

  • Maintain CRM records and track all interactions
  • Produce reports on sales performance, trends, and opportunities
  • Monitor pricing trends and margin performance

  • BA/BSc degree in Business Management, Finance, or a related discipline
  • Conversational to professional working proficiency in Spanish, German, French, or Italian (desirable) to support export markets and diverse customer bases
  • Experience in, or strong capability for, cold calling, telesales, or outbound customer service
  • Excellent verbal communication skills with strong active listening ability
  • Positive attitude toward rejection with persistence in follow-up
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritise tasks
  • Experience with CRM/ERP systems such as Salesforce or HubSpot is advantageous
  • Intermediate-level Microsoft Excel skills and strong general IT literacy
  • Demonstrable commercial acumen
  • Proven ability to meet tight deadlines while maintaining high standards of service and accuracy
