About the Unit

Yara Pocklington is part of the global company Yara International ASA and are a leader in the product development, manufacture and marketing of speciality nutrients & biostimulant products for use in regenerative agriculture worldwide along with the laboratory and technical support to make this happen.

Yara Analytical Services is the UK’s leading soil and plant analysis business dealing with over 250,000 samples from countries worldwide. We are seeking to recruit a Customer Service Specialist at our Pocklington site.

Responsibilities

Reporting directly to the Customer Service Manager, the main purpose of the role will be:

  • Processing orders in line with ISO 9001 and UKAS 17025
  • Record soil analysis results
  • Respond to customer enquiries with a high level of customer service
  • Maintain stock of sampling supplies/stationary
  • Arrange courier sample collections and delivery
  • Produce and issue laboratory invoices and deal with invoice enquiries
  • Maintain and update laboratory customer accounts
  • Liaise with credit controllers to follow up on any outstanding payment

Profile

We are looking for a competent Customer Service Specialist who is experienced working efficiently with high volumes of orders. The role will not be based in a Laboratory but in the offices.

Requirements would be:

  • GCSE standard education or equivalent
  • Experience of a highly pressurised office environment
  • Good level of numeracy
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Good problem solving skills
