Are you highly organised, customer-focused and passionate about delivering exceptional service?

We're looking for an Energy Specialist to join our Team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting our Members throughout their entire energy supply journey, from securing new contracts and managing energy portfolios to validating invoices and delivering excellent Member service.

About the Role

As an Energy Specialist, you'll be the trusted point of contact for Members, suppliers and colleagues, ensuring energy supplies are managed efficiently from contract acceptance through to ongoing account management.

You'll support new business opportunities, coordinate supply activities, validate energy invoices, resolve billing queries and help ensure our Members receive outstanding service and maximum value from their energy procurement arrangements.

Working within a collaborative and supportive team, you'll have the opportunity to develop your knowledge of the energy industry while contributing to continuous improvements across the business.

What You'll Be Doing

As an Energy Specialist, you'll play a key role in supporting our Members throughout their energy journey by:

  • Managing the onboarding and ongoing administration of electricity and gas supply contracts.
  • Building strong relationships with Members, suppliers and industry partners to deliver excellent customer service.
  • Processing, validating and resolving queries relating to utility invoices and billing.
  • Supporting new business activities by preparing quotations, contracts and Member onboarding.
  • Maintaining accurate records and ensuring systems are kept up to date.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve processes and contribute to continuous service improvements.
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team objectives and deliver outstanding member support.

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering an exceptional customer experience, alongside;

  • Experience in energy supply management, customer service or business development.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with an ability to build positive relationships with colleagues and Members.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Outstanding attention to detail.
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office and digital systems.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy.
  • A proactive approach with excellent problem-solving skills, taking pride in your work.

Salary: Up to £28,000 per annum, depending on experience

Hours: 37.5 per week, Monday to Friday
