Role Overview

As a Comparator Customer Service Specialist I within the Comparator Customer Service & Supply Chain Support team, you’ll play a critical role in maintaining financial accuracy, invoicing performance, and supply chain efficiency. Your responsibilities ensure:

  • Timely invoicing for reliable cash flow
  • Accurate cost reviews and supply chain data integrity
  • Operational and financial accountability across projects

Key Responsibilities

Financial & Invoicing Compliance

  • Review project documentation and ensure high-quality accruals before year-end or fiscal deadlines
  • Generate, verify, and submit documents for forecast and invoice creation
    • Verify financial data in IT systems for global tracking
    • Prepare KPIs for customer business reviews
    • Issue invoices for comparator products and freight charges
  • Markurt To Be Invoiced (TBIs) including:
    • Prepayment TBIs
    • Product TBIs
    • Freight TBIs
  • Process all transactions in compliance with 30-day terms and agreed-upon fiscal timing
  • Ensure 100% invoice accuracy and adherence to proper fiscal periods

Operational Excellence & IT Integrity

  • Update delivery schedules in Salesforce (per month, quarter, and corporate reviews)
  • Collaborate with Finance to maintain accurate customer and supplier accruals lists at month-end
  • Manage and audit data entry into KPI tracking systems
  • Maintain up-to-date SFDC records and resolve missing conflicts

Adherence & Auditing

  • Compile and redact documents for internal & external audit participation
  • Address risk of data discrepancies and comply with receiver-vendor agreements

Support Team Processes

  • Support Project Management for:
    • freight estimate accuracy
    • import/export specifications (e.g., Incoterms)
  • Assist on quote-related decisions (payment terms, route selection, freight insurance, FX rates)
  • Act as the internal point of contact for Finance on client invoices

  • Comparator Project Management (Basel and offshore teams)
  • Logistics, Finance, Quality Assurance (QA), Purchasing & Payments (P&P), Incoming/Outgoing Goods

External Contacts

  • Clients
  • Couriers (as required)

Skills & Experience Requirements

Education

  • Degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field with significant commercial work
  • OR equivalent professional experience (e.g., certifications, training)

Experience

  • 2–5 years in supply chain or finance, preferably within a pharmaceutical/regulated environment
