Onsite Customer Service Implant Cork
Mon-Fri, 37.5 hours per week (hybrid working) €42.000
You keep shipments moving and make sure everything runs smoothly. As a Transport Executive at DSV, you are the link between customers, carriers, and operations. You help solve problems, keep shipments on track, and ensure a high level of service every day.
What will you be doing?
- Provide great customer service through clear and proactive communication
- Build strong relationships with customers, carriers, and internal teams
- Act as the main point of contact between customers and operations
- Take ownership of shipment issues and resolve them quickly
- Act as the main escalation point between carriers and the customer
- Handle urgent problems professionally, including out-of-hours support if needed
- Book shipments and organise collections
- Track shipments and ensure full visibility
- Respond to daily freight queries
- Support new product launches from a logistics perspective
- Check freight invoices and correct any errors
- Maintain accurate reports and share operational updates
- Help identify cost-saving opportunities
- Suggest improvements to make processes more efficient
- Keep SOPs and work instructions up to date
- Follow training and compliance requirements
- Join operational meetings and share updates
- Build strong relationships with teams on site
- Support alignment between operations and leadership
- Be visible and involved in daily operations

About you
- Experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or transport operations
- Good understanding of shipment processes (air, sea, or road)
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to stay calm and organised in a fast-paced environment
- Confidence handling issues and making decisions
- Attention to detail, especially with data and costs
- A proactive mindset – you take ownership and solve problems
