Fitting Technician (Car Parts & Cycle Repair) - Apprenticeship
Salary & Age Requirements
- Age 21+: £14.01 per hour
- Under 21: £12.15 per hour
About the Role
Do you love all things motoring and cycling? Are you great with customers and enthusiastic?
Your customer service skills and passion for cars and bikes will drive your success in this role. While some experience in car parts fitting or cycle repair (even hobby-level) is ideal, we’ll provide comprehensive training to bring you up to market-leading standards.
In this role, you’ll:
- Work on customers’ vehicles in-store and on bikes in our car park
- Deliver a wide range of fitting services, including:
- Car parts fitting
- Technology fitting
- Cycle building
- Cycle servicing
- Develop practical problem-solving skills
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Ideally, you’ll have retail experience, but if not, we’ll support you with customer-focused sales training.

Responsibilities
Key tasks include:
- Providing exceptional customer service, tailored to each customer’s needs
- Offering proactive problem-solving in a customer-focused sale environment
- Working on a rota (including weekends) to ensure smooth operations
Requirements
Essential: ✔ Experience delivering great customer service (retail preferred) ✔ Proactive approach to helping customers ✔ Problem-solving skills ✔ Availability for a rotating schedule (weekends included)
Ideal (but not essential): ✔ Basic knowledge/skills in car parts fitting or cycle repair ✔ Experience working with sales targets
