Halfords Service & Retail Team Member

- Age 21+ – £12.91 per hour
- Under 21 – £11.05 per hour
About the Role
Do you love all things motoring and cycling? Are you great with customers and driven by enthusiasm for cars and bikes? If so, this role may be just for you!
Ideally, you’ll have:
- Some experience in fitting car parts or cycle repair, even as a hobby.
- A keen interest in customer service and problem-solving skills.
We offer training to help you develop your skills, and you’ll follow market-leading standards in service delivery. This role covers a mix of fitting services, including:
- Car parts & technology fitting
- Cycle building and servicing

Responsibilities
You’ll be assisting customers on both vehicles and bikes, helping them receive the best possible experience. Your tasks may include:
- Fitting car parts and tech solutions
- Assembling and servicing cycles
- Supporting problem-solving and delivering efficient, quick service
- Tailoring interactions based on customer needs, especially in sales
- Working as part of a team in a retail and automotive environment

Requirements
Must-Have:
- Experience delivering exceptional customer service, ideally in retail or sales.
- A proactive approach when helping customers and solving their needs.
- Availability to work on a rota basis, including weekends.
Ideal but Not Essential:
- Knowledge of car parts fitting or practical skills in cycle repair.
- Experience working towards and achieving sales targets.
No experience? No problem! Halfords values passion and eagerness to learn.
