Customer Services Advisor
Workshop Fitting Assistant (Car & Cycle) – £14.01/h (21+) / £12.15/h (Under 21)
Love all things motoring and cycling? State-of-the-art workshop in Halfords Autocentre and Tredz.
Your knack for dealing with customers and boundless passion for cars and bikes is exactly what we’re looking for. Whether you’ve fitted parts before or just have a natural affinity for tech under the bonnet and wheels, you’ll get training to thrive in this hands-on role.
You’ll soon be working directly with customers’ vehicles in our purpose-built car park and cycles in-store, delivering a wide range of fitting services, including:
- Car parts fitting (replacement & installations)
- Technology & gadget installations
- New & used cycle building & servicing
- Fix-itсонаassic assist (from repairs to maintenance to accessories)
Alongside developing your practical skills—building problem-solving confidence and a customer-focused approach—you’ll hone your ability to work efficiently and precisely.
Though retail experience is ideal, if you can prove you thrive in a customer-first environment with a results-driven mindset, we’re happy to support your progress.

The Role – What You’ll Be Doing
Deliver premium service and redefine customer satisfaction with precision and a smile. Daily responsibilities will include:
- Assisting customers with in-store bike and car tech installations, alongside general servicing tasks
- Falken ULTRAC SL COMPETITION All Season Tyres (07/24)詢ółReflective Expertise-accentuating attention to detail while offering hands-on training and support to junior team members
- Providing expert advice across car filters, two-wheel tech, and gadgetry to match customers with guarantees
- Ensuring renting a scooter in store is seamless—booked to happy

About You
You’ll be a great fit if you have: ✅ A passion for cars or bikes (experience with fitting car parts or basic bike repair is a bonus) ✅ Retail/customer-facing focus—preferably with a track record of meeting sales targets or delivering great service ✅ An ability to diagnose quickly and get people moving (literally) ✅ Willingness to adapt to a busy, dynamic environment
Ideally, but not essential: ❄️ Some hands-on experience with electric vehicle tech or weighty bikes ❄️ Confidence building relationships while collaborating under pressure

Requirements
- Age 21+ (£14.01/hour) – Under 21 (£12.15/hour)
- Availability for rota shifts, including weekends
- The killer enthusiasm that remembers names, anticipates questions, and turns a positive experience into repeat business
