Customer Services Advisor

Technician (Cars & Cycles) – £14.50 per hour

Great with customers and passionate about motoring and cycling? We’d love to see what you bring to our team.

Do you love what you do and enjoy helping people? Your enthusiasm, combined with your knack for customers and mechanical know-how (even as a hobby!), will help you thrive in this role. We’ll provide the training you need to deliver market-leading service—whether fitting car parts, servicing or building bikes, or solving challenges under pressure.

Job Summary: We’re looking for someone who loves customer service, works well under pressure, and has a practical approach. Retail experience is a bonus, but if you’ve worked in a customer-focused environment (e.g., sales), we’ll help you switch smoothly to our hands-on world.

This goes beyond fitting—you’ll help customers with car part installations, technology repairs, cycle servicing, and more whilst developing your skills fast. Expect to work on-site (garage and store), solve problems efficiently, and build lasting relationships with our customers.

Our training programmes are designed to help you grow—whether you want to specialise in Retail, Tech, or a different part of the Group. We’ll invest in coaching, mentorship and structured development so you can turn your ambition into action.

## About the Role

A role with effective problem-solving skills, great customer service and opportunity. If you can engage customers, listen to their needs, and adapt quickly, this could be your chance.

  • You’ll be working both inside and outside—from a store's frontline to the garage where vehicles and bikes get loved back to life.
  • Rotating shifts mean you’ll be on standby to "fix, fit, and fulfil"—recapping tyres, servicing bikes, giving car part consultations and closing the loop for a smooth customer experience.
  • This is about building long-term trust—a job where each customer interaction matters and a no-job-too-small mindset makes a difference.

We need someone who can:

  • Blend enthusiasm with technical skills (proving you’re adaptable and trainable)
  • Collabate with teams from advice to technical roles, sharing problems and solutions swiftly
  • Be available for weekends and rotas—because customer contact needs consistency.

## Key Responsibilities

Customer Interaction & Sales:

  • Listen and understand customers’ needs
  • Offer tailored advice, whether for car part fittings, cycle servicing or technology upgrades
  • Build strong relationships, delivering top-tier service at every point

Hands-On Technical Work:

  • Perform a range of car part fittings, including brakes, suspension, paints, and wiring
  • Execute cycle servicing, checks and basic cycle repairs (training provided)
  • Configuration and fitment checks on vehicles and trailers

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
