Customer Services Associate
Customer Service Executive – Freight Operations (Marken Logistics)

Main Duties and Responsibilities
Operational Accountability
- Monitor daily inbound and outbound shipments to ensure adherence to agreed time frames.
- Advise customers proactively regarding service-related issues, including customs detentions, estimated arrival times (ETA) for flights or trucks.
- Develop and maintain strong partnerships with customers through consistent, professional communication.
- Identify and analyse recurring operational challenges, proposing actionable service improvements.
- Provide critical booking guidelines, including latest booking times and required documentation.

Systems & Support Functions
- Execute shipment bookings via the Marken booking system.
- Serve as a multi-departmental liaison, supporting Customer Relationship Management, Transport, Operations, and Sales teams.
- Disseminate Marken service information effectively to internal teams and external customers.
Strategic Partnership Building
- Foster a partnership approach between Marken Logistics and customers by understanding their industry-specific logistics demands.
- Engage frequently with clients, airline personnel, and operations/logistics divisions, ensuring alignment on expectations and efficiency.
Customer-Facing Demands
- Participate in scheduled performance review meetings to discuss service delivery and address concerns.
- Cultivate internal relationships across customer organisations, including cross-departmental collaboration.

Key Skills and Experience
Technical & Logistic Competencies
- Comprehensive knowledge of aviation and airline networks, with expertise in logistics operations.
- Proven ability to influence stakeholders through strong communication skills.
Problem-Solving Mindset
- Excel in prioritisation and troubleshooting to resolve repetitive operational bottlenecks.
- Commitment to adherence with all company policies while remaining flexible for evolving workloads and demands.
Workplace Flexibility
- Willingness to cover shifts during weekends and adjust to flexible working hours as required.
