We are looking for a motivated, customer focused, team player to join the Customer Services team at Purbeck Sports Centre (Wareham)
The person appointed will join a small, dedicated team to help with the smooth running of the Centre.

What Will You Be Doing
As a first point of call for all customers you will need to be confident, approachable and dedicated to providing the highest standard of customer care.
The key duties for this position include;
- Handling customers enquiries both in person and over the telephone
- Handling queries regarding the Centre, facilities, events and activities
- Taking bookings and payments on the point-of-sale system using cash and cards
- Assisting with general administration such as record keeping, replenishing leaflets and bookings
Sales and Memberships
The ability to use your own initiative and have experience in customer services.
This is a part time role that averages over the year at 13.95 hours per week.

About You
Flexibility and reliability are essential as you will be required to work Friday evenings as a set day and a variety of weekends and a holiday period day, however the shift pattern is set so you will know what you will be working from January to December. You will need to be a motivated and confident individual with a background of working in a customer facing roles.
You will have a good standard of verbal and written communication skills as well as excellent customer service skills for liaising with both customers and colleagues.
A good knowledge of computer based software and programmes is required but full training will be provided to the successful candidate.
Be available for interviews starting the week of the 24th August, other arrangements can be made if you are unavailable for that week subject to time limits.
