Job Title: Customer Services Representative
The Customer Services Team is an integral part of the commercial sales organisation. As a Customer Services Representative, you will play a key role in supporting and driving the team’s success.
This position is about building and maintaining customer relationships, understanding their needs, and aligning these with BW’s product offerings. Your responsibilities will include growing opportunities through customer engagement, ensuring a world-class support experience, assisting with spare parts needs, and achieving company sales goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate quotations and enter sales orders for our spares parts business.
- Collaborate with the technical support team to provide accurate, timely responses to customer inquiries.
- Proactively follow up on quotations, engaging customers on their purchasing plans and addressing any questions about proposals.
- Maintain exceptional customer relationships through proactive contact.
- Act as a customer advocate, ensuring order delivery requirements are met and providing status updates on progress.
- Work with all internal departments (e.g., sales, logistics, engineering) to ensure the customer receives superb service from start to finish.
- Collaborate extensively with the UK Customer Services team to uphold best practices and process consistency.
- Assist in resolving customer claims and complaints in line with departmental policy.
- Maximise every customer interaction to grow business and promote BW products and services.
- Build stronger relationships with existing customers and develop new business opportunities.
- Minimal UK travel will be required.

Qualifications
- Post-secondary degree or a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in:
- Technical sales
- Sales support roles
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to maintain, build, and strengthen customer relationships.
- Goal-oriented and driven to contribute meaningfully to the business success.
- Strong negotiation skills, with the ability to articulately communicate value in solutions.
- Collaborative, able to work effectively in a team environment to achieve goals.
- High level of organisation with precision and a strong attention to detail.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, balancing multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, with an openness to learning new applications, including AI tools as needed.
- Aptitude to understand mechanical drawings and basic schematics.
- Willingness to accept challenges, with a mindset to take initiative.
- Creative thinker and eager learner.
