Customer Success Lead (Sales Manager Experience)

Full time - Remote, UK, EU, or US

Own customer onboarding and early success after close. Run the install playbook, monitor deal and pipeline health, drive rep adoption, and escalate product gaps with evidence from real calls.

About the role

1Close is an AI sales manager for founder led sales teams. Customers buy an outcome, not a login. Your job is to make that outcome real: reps scoring calls, founders getting visibility, teams building a habit with the product.

This role is for someone who has run a sales team. You are installing the AI sales manager into a customer, so you need to speak deal, pipeline, and coaching credibly with a founder and their closers. You work from a documented playbook and the Frame State Selling method. You do not design the coaching system. You make it land, spot where teams stall, and send structured signal back to product and leadership.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

What you'll do

  • Lead new customer onboarding from kickoff through handoff to day to day use
  • Run live sessions with founders and closers. Adoption, integrations, and clear next steps
  • Monitor deal and pipeline health across your accounts and step in before deals or reps stall
  • Review call recordings and usage to see whether coaching is landing
  • Handle early support issues and escalate bugs or product gaps with context
  • Capture what worked and what stalled so the playbook improves each cycle

What we're looking for

  • Must have closing experience. You have carried a quota and closed deals yourself, not just managed a process
  • Hands on sales management experience. You have run or coached a team of closers and owned a pipeline
  • Strong customer facing ability. You build trust with founders and closers and hold the room through onboarding
  • Can listen to a sales call and judge whether guidance landed
  • Comfortable reading pipeline and deal health data and turning it into concrete next actions
  • Organised enough to run a repeatable cadence across multiple accounts at different install stages
  • Have worked at an internet or technology company and are comfortable in a fully remote team
  • Based in the UK, EU, or US, and able to overlap with customer hours for live calls
