The Role: Customer Success Manager

Our product spans a large and complex problem space, making this a dynamic and impactful role. As a Customer Success Manager, you’ll have true ownership, real responsibility, and ample opportunities to build and shape our customer success strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Host calls with customers:

    • Assist during onboarding
    • Educate them on best practices
    • Introduce new features
    • Foster strong relationships
  • Drive customer success initiatives:

    • Continuously develop and grow our customer success motion
    • Oversee processes and workflows

  • Collaborate with engineering:

    • Advocate for product feedback
    • Help design tooling and processes to improve adoption
  • Educate customers efficiently:

    • Create and manage webinars
    • Write and distribute educational content
    • Experiment with innovative ways to share knowledge
  • Proactively engage with at-risk customers:

    • Identify users who don’t align with expected product behaviors
    • Communicate solutions and course corrections
  • Practise what we preach (dog-food our tools):

    • Use Pylon’s own features to manage internal customer success processes
  • Champion continuous product improvement:

    • Provide actionable feedback
    • Suggest features to enhance the product’s functionality

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Located in (or willing to relocate to) London and eager to contribute in-person
  • Thriving in customer-facing roles:
    • Comfortable engaging via chat and video formats
    • Experienced navigating complex customer use cases and business needs
  • Disciplined and proactive:
    • Highly organized with a strong work ethic
  • Creative mindset:
    • Enjoy experimenting with the product
    • Adept at visualizing and refining workflows
  • Bonus traits:
    • Skilled in analytics tools to create and interpret data dashboards
