The Role
As a Client Success Specialist (CSS), you will play a key role in helping our clients realise the full value of their Verdantix subscription. Working alongside our Account Management team, you will support client onboarding, drive user engagement, encourage platform adoption, and build strong relationships across our customer base.
You'll become a trusted point of contact for clients, ensuring they know how to access and apply our research and advisory services to achieve their business objectives. Along the way, you'll develop commercial awareness by identifying opportunities for account growth and supporting renewal and expansion conversations.
This role is designed for someone who wants to build a career in Customer Success and Account Management. You'll develop consultative relationship management skills, learn how enterprise customers measure value, and gain exposure to commercial account planning and growth strategies.
Salary
The salary opportunity is £30,000 - £32,000 (dependent on experience) with a very competitive bonus, paid quarterly.
Working Arrangement
This is a hybrid role which requires 3 days a week in the office during the probationary period, reducing to 2 days upon successful completion.
What You'll Be Doing
- Supporting the onboarding of new clients to ensure successful adoption of Verdantix research subscriptions and advisory services.
- Delivering proactive client engagement through email, phone and virtual meetings to maximise platform usage whilst helping them understand how to navigate, access and apply Verdantix research to meet their business objectives.
- Monitoring client engagement and usage data to identify adoption risks and opportunities to improve customer outcomes and assisting with renewal preparation by demonstrating the value client’s have received through their subscription.
- Building relationships with a broad range of stakeholders across client organisations and maintaining client satisfaction, customer records, activities and engagement notes within Salesforce.
- Identifying opportunities for additional users, research access or advisory engagement and collaborating with Account Managers to support account growth.
- Using internal systems and customer engagement tools to manage workload, prioritise client interactions and improve productivity.
- Working closely with Research, Sales, Marketing and Product teams to deliver an outstanding client experience.
- Continuously developing knowledge of Verdantix research, markets and client challenges to provide increasingly valuable support.

About You
- Passion for building relationships and delivering an exceptional customer experience. Prior experience within customer success/client engagement is essential.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a confidence in engaging professionals across a range of seniorities.
- Naturally organised with excellent attention to detail and enjoys working collaboratively across different teams.
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to supporting clients.
- Coachable and open to continuous feedback and development.
- Professionalism and ability to represent Verdantix credibly with enterprise clients while being commercially curious and interested in how businesses create value.
- Demonstrates working knowledge of modern AI tools (e.g., copilots, LLMs, AI-assisted analytics) and applies them to improve quality, speed, or decision-making in role-specific tasks with a curiosity about technology, sustainability, innovation or business strategy.
- Able to write, refine and critique AI prompts to achieve reliable outputs; understands how prompt structure affects results.
